What is the Student Success Center?

Our Student Success Center meets the needs of our students by providing behavior redirection and social/emotional support. Our Dean of Student's - Ms. Bunnell, our Counselor - Ms. Ibarra, our Social Worker - Ms. Irma, and our redirector - Mr. Hernandez, meet with students, parents and staff to assure that each child has the tools to navigate their learning. Our collaborative team structure allows for a holistic approach to student support.

Ms. Irma

Ms. Irma has extensive experience as a Social Worker and continues to support our students within our Special Education Department through referrals, resources and social/emotional support.

Ms. Valentine

 

I am an accomplished educator with over 10 years of experience in Title I schools within the Albuquerque Public Schools system. Additionally, I am a former police officer with a background in Human Services and Substance Abuse Services. I am a lifelong learner and a passionate school counselor eager to make a positive impact on the lives of people in my community.
